4. Raise the heat to medium. Add the cauliflower. Stir to coat each floret in the spice mixture. Add 2 tablespoons of water to the pot. Mix well then bring to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let the cauliflower steam for about 10 minutes, just until tender. 

STEPS:

1. Pick through the green lentils for any debris then rinse in cold water.


2. Fill pan with 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add the beans and reduce the heat to low. Let the lentils simmer for approximately 15 mins or until they are tender. Drain and set aside.


3. In a pot on medium-low heat, fry the mustard seeds and cumin seeds together in the oil until the mustard seeds start to pop. Add the onion and fry, about 5 minutes, until it begins to turn translucent. Reduce the heat to low add the powdered spices and salt. Fry for a minute to allow the aroma to rise. Add the garlic and green chile. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.
